Apple TV
IPTV player for Apple TV — Live TV, movies and series, made for the big screen
Cobi Player puts your own Xtream account or M3U playlist on the TV: channels sorted by country, the guide in type you can read from the sofa, and Continue Watching right on the home screen.
- Free to watch — forever
- Set up with your iPhone
- The app speaks 15 languages

Setup
Set up in seconds, with your iPhone
No typing with the remote. Your iPhone shows an 8-digit code, you enter it on the TV, and your account is there.
- On your iPhone, iPad or Mac: Settings › Transfer Account.
- On the new device, enter the code: “Get Account from iPhone” on Apple TV, “Get Account from Another Device” on iPhone, iPad or Mac.
- Works even when they aren't on the same Wi-Fi.

Live TV
Every country, one tile
Live TV, Movies and Series start on your countries — open one, and its categories are right there.
- Each tile shows how many categories it holds.
- Movies and series are grouped by country too, when your provider names them that way.
- Hide the countries you never watch.

Guide
The guide, from the sofa
What's on now in the channel list, and the whole evening one click away — in type you can read across the room.
- The guide opens on the program that is on now.
- Past programs play from the archive, where your provider keeps one.
- Start the running show from the beginning.

Home
Continue Watching, right on the home screen
The top of the home screen shows what you are watching, with Continue Watching and Next Episode; your rows and folders sit below.
- Progress bars on every poster.
- Your favorite folders on the home screen.
- The channels you watched last, one click away.

- Sleep timer and playback speed.

The remote
Made for the Siri Remote
Scrub with a swipe
In films and episodes, swipe along the timeline — the longer the swipe, the further it goes.
Audio and subtitles
Swipe down while a film plays to change the audio track or the subtitles.
Switch channels
In live TV, swipe up or down for the next channel — a small banner shows where you are.

Apple TV questions
How do I get my account onto my other devices?
Without typing: on the iPhone, iPad or Mac that already has it, open Settings › Transfer Account. Then, on the new device, enter the 8-digit code shown — on an Apple TV under Get Account from iPhone, on an iPhone, iPad or Mac under Settings › Get Account from Another Device. The account is offered on two routes at once — directly across your local network (the devices don't even have to be on the same Wi-Fi) and through your own iCloud, encrypted with that code. The offer lasts 10 minutes; “Cancel” ends it earlier. One exception: an M3U playlist you imported as a file cannot travel — it lives in this device's storage. Add that playlist by URL instead and the transfer works.
Sync doesn't reach my Apple TV.
First check that both devices are signed in to the same Apple Account and have iCloud switched on, then tap “Link Account” in the sync settings. Worth knowing: an Apple TV can use one Apple Account for iCloud and another for purchases, and only the iCloud one matters here. More in the sync guide.
One honest limitation. If an Apple TV has several user profiles, apps use the iCloud account of the default profile — which may belong to someone else in the household, no matter who is watching. tvOS has no switch for this: changing the default profile means removing it and adding an Apple Account again, which affects everyone who uses it (Apple’s steps). Until then, sync can stay empty on such a device even though everything is set up correctly. Sending your account with a code is barely affected: it also travels directly between the devices, whatever iCloud account the Apple TV uses.
Xtream or M3U — what's the difference?
An Xtream Codes login gives you everything your provider offers: live TV, movies, series, the program guide and catch-up. From an M3U or M3U8 playlist, Cobi Player shows every entry as a live channel, with its name, logo and group — so a film in a playlist shows up as a channel, without its own Movies section, poster, plot or resume position, and playlist channels have no guide or catch-up. If your provider offers both, use the Xtream login. The full comparison is in Add an M3U playlist.
Which devices and system versions does it need?
iPhone and iPad (iOS and iPadOS 18 or later), Apple TV (tvOS 18 or later) and the Mac (macOS 15 or later).
